Terms of Service

By accessing or using the services provided by Abakon Consult (trading as CAC Register), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. Scope of Services

Abakon Consult acts as an accredited intermediary between you (the client) and the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC). We provide professional assistance in preparing, filing, and tracking business registration and compliance documents.

2. Client Obligations

To ensure a successful registration, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information.
  • Submit authentic identification documents.
  • Respond promptly to requests for additional information or clarification.
  • Bear full responsibility for the legality of the business activities you intend to conduct.

3. Fees and Payments

All service fees must be paid in full before filing commences. Our fees include:

  • CAC statutory filing fees.
  • Abakon Consult professional processing fees.
  • Postage or delivery fees (where applicable).

Refund Policy: Once a name reservation or registration filing has been submitted to the CAC portal, fees are generally non-refundable as the CAC does not refund statutory fees.

4. Timelines and Delays

While we strive to meet the timelines advertised (e.g., 24-72 hours), you acknowledge that delays caused by CAC portal downtime, queries from CAC registrars, or public holidays are beyond our direct control. We will keep you informed of any such delays.

5. Limitation of Liability

Abakon Consult shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services, including but not limited to business interruption or loss of profits due to registration delays or rejected name reservations.

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Abakon Consult and its staff from any claims, losses, or legal fees arising from fraudulent information provided by you or your failure to comply with Nigerian corporate laws.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Nigeria.

8. Modifications

Abakon Consult reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
